Refugee farmer in Massachussets farmer incubator program
This program in Massachusetts has been around for a while now training immigrants and refugees in modern farming techniques. It’s kind of a small farmer incubator program. You may remember a while back I wrote about the looming crisis of a farmer shortage in this country. Here is a program that is training small scale farmers to grow in their own communities. I hope to see this kind of thing in Portland soon.
